Twenty-one lines across three brands. Young's is the bulk of it at 16 lines, Remia supplies four from the Netherlands, and Salim adds a spreadable cream cheese. The savoury spreads are the distinctive part of this category. Young's carries a chicken spread, a fajita chicken spread and a BBQ chicken spread, alongside a sandwich spread — the sort of thing a sandwich counter or a resort breakfast line turns over quickly. On the sweet side, the Choco Bliss range covers hazelnut, milky, double chocolate cocoa, cookies and cream, and peanut cocoa, with a Chocola cocoa-based spread and a crunchy peanut butter beside them. Mayonnaise runs across both Young's and Remia — classic, creamy and salted, mayo red chilli and mayo chup from Young's; standard, squeeze bottle and light from Remia, plus Remia Dijon mustard. Jar and bottle sizes run 140g, 200g, 230g, 300g, 320g, 350g and 500g on the weight side, and 250ml, 320ml, 350ml, 370ml, 500ml, 850ml and 1 litre on the volume side. Cases are configured at 6, 10, 12, 24 or 48 units depending on the pack. Two Sosun test kitchen recipes are written around this category: the chicken salad, which uses the Young's chicken spread, and the tuna sandwich, built on Remia mayonnaise.
