Baby Foodsin the Maldives

All five lines in this category are Promina, the Indonesian baby food brand, imported directly by Sosun Fihaara. Every one is labelled for six months and older. The range splits between cereals and meals. The cereals are milky brown rice and banana milk, and smooth mung bean sits alongside them. The two savoury meals are beef stew with carrot, and cheesy chicken with broccoli. Each line is a 120g single-serve pack. Feed the stage the label states rather than the category — the age marking is on the pack, and each product page lists its own pack size and barcode. Promina sits under the wider Baby Care category, which also carries the Bumble wet wipe range. Stock is cleared through Malé and held in the company's own dry warehousing before dispatch. Deliveries run on scheduled sea freight and speedboat services from Malé harbour to resort supply docks and island retailers across North and South Malé, Ari and Baa Atolls, with customs clearance and import documentation handled in-house.
